We provided a perimeter beam tensile structure with integrated drainage system, providing a waterproof covered area while minimising the number of pillars. The area was completed with the provision of Tunbridge furniture providing students with a place to sit in during break times.
Most recently Outdoor for Schools has renovated the school library providing an inspiring woodland themed space for students to browse and enjoy books. Along with extensive bookshelves we have provided a treehouse, furniture and a teepee.
The school wanted to bring this large, unused, and overgrown internal courtyard back to life. They wanted a space where the children could enjoy the outdoor air, a place to eat their lunch and spend time with friends.
A repeat customer for us, Norwood Green Infant and Nursery School, located in Norwood, London, already has some outdoor play equipment and a play house from us.
Yeading Infant and Nursery School is located in Hillingdon in London. The school is one of the largest infant schools in the area.
Gilbert Colvin School consists of a nursery and primary school with children from the ages of 3 to 11 yrs. There are just under 500 children at the school.
The trail features a number of high-level pieces of equipment including the Overhead Ladder and Monkey Ring Swing to develop upper body strength, Log Peak Climber and Climbing Tunnel for lower body development, and the Burma Bridge and Twister Beam for balance and coordination.
Over the years we have developed various areas of the school including various play areas for different areas and age groups around the site along with outdoor shade, shelter and learning areas.
Sited in a picturesque village on the edge of the Peak District, Outdoor for Schools provided an extensive adventure trail overlooking beautiful countryside. The trail is ideally suited to the primary aged young people that attend the school providing enjoyment through play while developing strength, balance, coordination and risk taking.
The project features two adapted and bespoke items which have become a popular part of our range. The school wanted to encourage cooperation and friendship through play. Our Glacier Slide originally featured our trademark ripple slide, however we adapted it to feature a double width slide to allow two users to slide together.
